Gscheid Haferl - The Store
Since 2017 we've been running a small but lovely store in the heart of Bad Kötzting, right opposite the town hall in Herrenstraße. Here you can buy all our beans in bags - ground on request or in the 5kg reusable bucket. We're happy to guide you through the not-always-easy coffee choice and surely have a tip up our sleeve.
You'll also find the fine Wildbach chocolates, Moccamaster coffee machines, filters, grinders and all kinds of accessories around the brown bean. Looking for a gift? You'll strike gold here!
The coffee store
Small but mighty. And right in the centre: a lively town centre matters to us, which is why we're delighted to welcome you to our store right in Herrenstraße.
From fruit crates, reclaimed wood and the recycled crate our first roasting machine arrived in from overseas, we built a cosy store with its own coffee bar.

Naturally you'll find all our varieties here, from mild filter coffee to bold espresso. Fruity or chocolatey, decaf or with a hefty Robusta share. We've got the bean for you.

Coffee bar
Our store doubles as a coffee bar! We work with a La Marzocco Strada AV ABR, grinders by Ceado and Mahlkönig, and brew the finest filter coffee on a 3temp Hipster.
The coffees rotate constantly and become cappuccino, flat white or café au lait with alpine or oat milk.
A nut pastry on the side? Gladly! Sitting outside? Naturally! To go in the reusable reCup? Of course!

Es kann ja nicht nur Kaffee geben! Darum haben wir zusätzlich unsere eigene Tassenkollektion aus hochwertigem Emaille und Porzellan, Viele Produkte rund um die Kaffeezubereitung, die beliebten Wildbach-Schokoladen und vieles mehr.

Spoilt for choice? Happens with coffee, too. For everyone who just can't decide, we put together tasting sets in various combinations. Simply pick your 'direction' and we'll pack the coffee. Great for drinking yourself or for gifting. Help us avoid waste and feel free to choose the "save packaging" option – we'll simply leave out the gift box, unless we need it for shipping. With these 3x250g you'll travel right across our range, from mild to nutty to bold. If you can't quite find your way around our coffees yet – or simply want to gift coffee – this is the one.

There are two versions: for cappuccino or flat white – or for doppio. - beautifully simple shape- holds 100ml to the rim - for doppio or espresso macchiato- or 200ml - for cappuccino or flat white- lovingly hand-cast and stamped in a Romanian manufactory- stamped on both sides, 1x "GSCHEID HAFERL", 2x our glowing bean- real ceramic, fired at 1250°C- dishwasher-safe and highly impact-resistant, fit for professional use- heavyweight quality- in simple grey available with or without saucer, please choose under options. The saucer is the same for both sizes. We use these cups for serving at our shop as well - everyone loves them!

Our new espresso cups are guaranteed to switch your light bulb on! - beautifully simple shape- holds 50ml to the rim - a single espresso- lovingly hand-cast and stamped in a Romanian manufactory- real ceramic, fired at 1250°C- dishwasher-safe and highly impact-resistant, fit for professional use- heavyweight quality- in classic black available with or without saucer, please choose under options
Is chocolate a he or a she? In Bavarian we can't agree either ("der Schoklad'" or "die Schoklad'"). But bring him or her together with properly roasted coffee beans and no doubt remains: THE "Gscheid Taferl" (a "Taferl" being a little slab – the sibling of our Haferl). Even though the beans are feminine. Mad. And now finally available online! Together with the Wildbach chocolate manufactory we developed our favourite chocolate: organically grown, fairly traded chocolate in manufactory quality meets our "Peru Tunki" – as whole beans and ground. Crunchy, coffee-y, chocolatey. And he/she (or rather THE Gscheid.TAFERL) keeps you awake, too. Fine dark chocolate made with Colombian cocoa, 62% cocoa content, sprinkled with whole coffee beans, hand-crafted in Lower Bavaria.
