Light Muscovado is the classic among all-natural, unrefined cane sugars, produced on Mauritius following recipes handed down through generations. The soft, moist sugar consists of small crystals. Syrup residues give it a light honey-brown colour, aromatically rounded off with brittle and fine toffee notes. Light Muscovado lends every coffee and tea, caramel sauce and dessert such as tiramisu an unmistakable taste and unique indulgence. Being all-natural, moist sugars can dry out. Should your sugar harden, simply place a damp cloth next to it overnight and it will turn soft again.
